Part 1 The Foundations
Exhausted? Uninspired? Just making it through the day, praying for more energy only to realize that the cycle will start again in the morning?
This introductory class will explore the 6 core elemental foundations for well being (rest, relaxation, sleep, nutrition, play, sex/relationships).
We will move from theory to experience. Taking “what we we should do” into actual practices to help nurture the development of your foundations. Make life enjoyable by simplifying your day to day task. Consider what really matters and then what matters AND what makes you happy.
Explore and reflect on what sustains you in your life and what elements drain energy from you.
You will learn simple asana, pranayama, qigong, and meditation practices to empower you with a sense of perspective and humor to face the challenges of every day.
With practice, life becomes, simple, easy, peaceful.

This workshop is taught by Kim Taurins, teacher in yoga, Reiki Master and student in Dao. She is a strong teacher, lighthearted and will comfort and challenge you at the same time.
She teaches in Houston, TX at the Pralaya Yoga Home Base Studios. The subjects she points out will connect to a development in yourself a s well as in our society as a whole.
